What Is Organic Dry Cleaning ?

It's likely that your local drycleaner uses PERC, a petroleum-based solvent that is a known carcinogen. Some drycleaners use DF-2000, a hydrocarbon solvent that is harmful also to the environment. If you're looking for a clothing care process that makes less of an ecological impact, try GREEN cleaning which is CO2-based, or opt for steam cleaning your clothing. Wet cleaning, a water-based process, is PERC-free but is not safe for all fabrics.
